Personal Journey

"Art has allowed me to bring out emotions I couldn't understand in the moment, and express them positively. These pieces specifically have helped my journey.”

Sophrosyne  2022

$450
14 x 27 in
Acrylic, recycled wood and frame, artificial flowers

I created this piece as a way to express how I am finally happy with who I am and all of my flaws. Also, I wanted to express how free I finally feel with a healthy state of mind.

Metamorphosis  2022

$300  -Prints Available-
15 x 21 in
Watercolor on paper

Just like a butterfly, we all go through changes in order to find ourselves. This series of watercolor paintings represent the journey everyone goes through when learning to love themselves.

Never Enough  2022
$350  -Prints Available-
16 x 20 in
Acrylic on Canvas

I created this self-portrait when I had the mindset of never being good enough no matter what. I used yellow and green for the skin to represent the feeling of being alienated in my own skin. This piece is a constant reminder of how much I’ve grown as a person.

Drowning Myself   2021
$375
20 x 27 in
Charcoal on paper

This piece represents the feeling of being completely overwhelmed with anxiety. A blanket is lightly covering the figures face; therefore, on the outside it seems so easy for her to uncover herself and be free. However, from the figure’s perspective, it feels impossible to escape.

Alicia Keys  2022
$350  SOLD -Prints Available-
16 x 20 in
Acrylic on Canvas

Everyone is made up of a wide range of colors that are shown both physically and through their personality. I made this piece to show how colorful each person truly is.

Calm Like the Waves  2022
$350  SOLD -Prints Available-
16 x 20 in
Acrylic on Canvas

This piece was created by only mixing blue, orange, black, and white. I wanted to evoke the feeling of calm and tranquility through the complimentary color combination, facial expression,
and the waves representing her hair.

A Celebration of Life  2021

NFS
16 x 20 in
Acrylic on Canvas

My Grandaddy is really special to me and my family. I created this collage painting to celebrate his life and all of the happy memories he had with us. Throughout the piece I added all of his favorite things/holidays, and the house he used to live in.

Rihanna  2022

SOLD
16 x 20 in
Charcoal on paper

I was inspired to create this piece when I saw an empowering photo of Rihanna. She inspires me through both her music and by how strong and confident she is. I wanted to see if I could evoke the same emotions if I drew the photo in black and white.

Realizing My Inner Void  2021
$200
18 x 24 in
Charcoal on Paper

I created this piece to express the feeling of emptiness that I sometimes feel. The figure reached inside her chest only to look down at her empty hand.
